History was made in Cairo as the Euro Padel League (EPL) brought together the iconic capitals of Europe and Africa for the first time in an unforgettable international padel showcase — The EPL Cairo Cup powered by Playtomic and sponsored by Babolat.
In a momentous celebration of sport and cultural unity, teams from across two continents — from the fjords of Stockholm to the Pyramids of Cairo, from London’s Big Ben to the minarets of Tunis — gathered to compete in what has been hailed as a landmark event in the world of padel.
This pioneering tournament was made possible through an exceptional collaboration between the Euro Padel League, the Seniors Padel Tour of Egypt, and the Arvea-sponsored Team Tunisia, uniting the best padel legends from Europe and North Africa for an unforgettable weekend of competition, camaraderie, and celebration.
After a thrilling series of matches, the hosts Monte Cairo emerged victorious, narrowly defeating London Rocks in a tense and high-quality final.
Congratulations to Karim, the inspirational captain of Monte Cairo, and his team for lifting the inaugural EPL Cairo Cup trophy.
Third place went to the impressive Arvea of Tunisia, while the Vikings of Stockholm claimed a heroic fourth. The remaining positions, 5th to 8th, were taken by the talented Egyptian squads Scorpions, Padel Pals, Padel Icons, and Padel Strikers, each showcasing the growing depth and passion for padel across the region.
